Multiple leaks point to the release of the much requested trilogy "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection."
The first sign of the "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" coming to current gen consoles was leaked by the Korean Ratings Board, Gamespot reported. The listing for both PS4 and Xbox One versions was spotted by a NeoGAF user in August.
Last week, French publication Gameblog has posted more proof that the collection is coming soon, revealing what looks like a promotional image for the trilogy. In addition to that, the site also revealed that the "Ezio Collection" will feature a 1080p resolution running at 30 FPS.
Finally, Videogamer reported that Amazon Italy apparently has a listing on the site for the PS4 version of "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection."
Nothing has been officially declared by Ubisoft yet, but the rumored collection is said to include current-gen remastered versions of "Assassin's Creed 2," "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and "Assassin's Creed: Revelations," said to be three of the best "Assassin's Creed" titles in the franchise.
The bundle will also include all DLC's and two animated films based on Ezio Auditore, "Assassin's Creed: Lineage" and "Assassin's Creed: Embers," Gameblog further revealed. The collection is said to come out in November this year.
The much awaited collection is touted to be Ubisoft's replacement for this year's mainline "Assassin's Creed" title, with the French publisher busy with the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" movie starring Michael Fassbender.
Ubisoft has also announced earlier this year that the franchise will be taking a breather from its yearly release, and will be "stepping back and re-examining the 'Assassin's Creed' franchise."
The publisher is yet to confirm the existence of "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" for the current-gen consoles, but this should keep the fans busy until the next "Assassin's Creed" game arrives next year, which is rumored to be set in Ancient Egypt. The "Assassin's Creed" movie is also scheduled to be out this December.
