A Collector's Edition for "Rise of the Tomb Raider" may be coming to the PS4, according to a listing on Amazon Germany.
The listing, according to Attack of the Fanboy, is spotted on the German version of the retail site via this link.
Unfortunately, the listing does not say anything about its contents. However, if we were to base it on the Collector's Edition for the Xbox One, then fans may expect the following to be included with the retail copy of the game: a 12" Lara Croft statue, a Collectible Steel Case, a journal not unlike Lara's own journal in the game, and a replica of Lara's beautiful Jade Necklace.
As it is the "Tomb Raider" franchise's 20th anniversary this year, there is a chance that the PS4 Collector's Edition may have more goodies than the one released for Xbox One last year. So PS4 fans may expect a few anniversary tokens to be included.
The said Collector's Edition is priced at EUR 99.99 on the German Amazon site, which is notably cheaper than its Xbox One version, which was priced at a hefty $150 (converted to around EUR 134 today.)
The Collector's Edition for "Rise of the Tomb Raider" for the PS4 is yet to be officially confirmed by Square Enix themselves. We have taken a peek at both the European and North American Square Enix's stores and the Tomb Raider Store, but there are no signs of any Collector's Edition coming out this year.
With or without the Collector's Edition, PS4 owners are just glad that the game is finally going to be released on their consoles, although some are still seething because of the port's delay, thanks Microsoft's timed exclusivity.
"Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" will be released on PS4 this October 11 and will include the base game plus all the already released DLC's "Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch" and "Cold Darkness Awakened."
