Creative Assembly may have just accidentally leaked one of its upcoming DLC's for "Total War: Warhammer."
On a Reddit post started by Redditor KravanLGD, a reference to "Grombrindal the White Dwarf" was spotted in the game's Steam changelogs. The reference can be found on this screenshot.
Grombrindal is an ancient, mysterious dwarf, and the mascot of White Dwarf magazine. Here is his description as per 1d4chan.org.
"Grombrindal, a.k.a. "The White Dwarfl," is a unique special character fromWarhammer Fantasy Battle associated with the Dwarfs army. On a meta-level, he is the iconic character for which their gaming magazine White Dwarf is named."
"In-universe, he is a mysterious dwarven warrior with an impressively long, white beard who sometimes appears when Dwarfs are beset by a particularly great and terrible battle, hurling himself into the fray and assuring the eventual victory of dwarfkind."
KravanLGD also pointed out that Grombrindal may be coming alongside the tenth DLC, which is listed on the "Total Wars" site as the Skaven DLC.
Speaking of DLC's, "Total War: Warhammer" has just released its latest update called "The Grim & The Grave" on Sept. 1. The new DLC introduced new Legendary Lords from the "Warhammer Fantasy Battles" world.
New additions to the "Total War: Warhammer" Legendary Lords list include the Empire's Volkmar the Grim, and Helman Ghorst from the Vampire Counts faction. Vampire Counts' Ghoul King and the Empire's Arch Lector will also be included as well as new Lord Types.
The latest expansion has also introduced the "Regiments of Renown," which are elite, mercenary variants of existing units, according to the Total War Wiki. The new DLC will introduce 18 of them, nine for each of the core playable races, and nine for another.
