The recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and OnePlus 3 with the soon-to-be-launched Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comparison hints at a war brewing between the top smartphone brands.

Even with excellent specs like the S Pen, Iris Scanner, excellent Snapdragon processor, and the water-resistant feature, the new Galaxy Note 7 is touted to be a bit overrated and overpriced as compared to the OnePlus and Xiaomi devices, which are equally efficient.

In order to help you choose the best device amongst the three, we have jotted down below their specs and features.

To start with, the Galaxy Note 7 comes with a curved-edged chassis and an Iris Scanner on the top front panel for added security provision to the users., whereas the OnePlus 3 comes with an aluminum body, curved edges and tapered side panel. On the other hand the, the upcoming Xiaomi phone is reported to sport a dual-curved display just like the latest Note 7.

Furthermore, the Note 7 sports a 5.7-inch screen with Super AMOLED display panel and 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The OnePlus phablet consists of a 5.5-inch screen with Optic AMOLED display and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. To provide a tough competition to the other two, the upcoming Mi Note 2 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch screen with OLED display.

In terms of performance-related specs, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4 GB RAM whereas the OnePlus 3 is even faster with similar Snapdragon 820 processor and 6 GB RAM. According to the latest leaked reports, the Xiaomi device is purported to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The OnePlus 3 device excels with a 16-megapixel rear and an 8-megapixel front camera as compared to the Note 7's 12-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. However, there are no camera details available as far as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is concerned.

Last but not the least, the Galaxy Note 7 is priced for a whopping amount of $850, while the OnePlus 3 is available for nearly half of its price which is $400. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be priced at CNY 2,799, or $420.

To sum up, choosing a device amongst the three will depend on your requirements. However, the OnePlus 3 and the Mi Note 2 can be touted to be the pocket-friendly options with nearly the similar specs like that of the Galaxy Note 7.
