Turn-based fantasy strategy game "Total War: Warhammer" will be releasing yet another expansion for the game called "The Grim & The Grave."
Following the recent DLC launch of "Call of the Beastman," Creative Assembly will be dropping another one in a few weeks. The upcoming " The Grim & The Grave" expansion will introduce new legendary lords from the world of "Warhammer Fantasy Battles" to the game.
Check out the announcement video below.
New to the "Total War: Warhammer" Legendary Lords list is the Empire's Volkmar the Grim, and Helman Ghorst from the Vampire Counts faction. Vampire Counts' Ghoul King and the Empire's Arch Lector will be added to the game as well as new Lord Types, according to PC Gamer.
Apart from the additional lords mentioned, the Empire will also see The Knights of the Blazing Sun, The Flagellants and the Free Company Militia added to their arsenal, while the Vampire Counts will get new additions Corpse Cart and Mortis Engine.
"The Grim & The Grave" will also introduce new quest chains, skill trees and magic items.
The next expansion will also introduce "Regiments of Renown," which are elite, mercenary variants of existing units, according to the Total War Wiki. The new DLC will introduce 18 of them, nine for each of the core playable races, and nine for another.
You can read more about the "Regiments of Renown" on the official Wiki page.
The add-ons will all come as paid DLC, but there is still something for those who do not want to purchase. Five all-new battle maps and a new Legendary Lord, Vampire Counts' Vlad Von Carstein will be made available to all players, and will be released alongside "The Grim & The Grave" DLC launch.
"The Grim & The Grave" DLC will be launched on September 1 and will cost $7.99 on Steam. If you're new to the game, check out our "Total War: Warhammer" Faction Guide.
