The game "Dark Souls 3" is getting its 1.07 update soon as it was confirmed for the Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 after the recent server downtime. It will also be releasing its first DLC called "Ashes of Ariandel."

This coming August 25, the "Dark Souls 3" update will be rolled out and this will affect PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.

Gamespot reported that all servers will be offline for a number of hours and players wouldn't be able to play multiplayer sessions. The downtime schedule is outlined in the following list:

PDT - August 24th, 2016 6:00pm - 8:00pm

The updates will bring a number of changes to the game including the increased length of Hammer Skill, movement delays when canceling on guard break, removal of parry ability when using Blind Spot and Dancer's Grace, and more.

The update will also cover several bug issues wherein sound effects don't play properly, while spamming Lightning Spears rapidly and general performance improvements will also be included.

On top of the scheduled update, the first DLC called "Ashes of Ariandel" will also be released this coming October 25 for all the platforms. The trailer was shared on Twitter, but got immediately removed since it was supposed to be released this August 24 instead.

Fans can look forward for more details regarding the upcoming DLC once the update is officially applied to the game. The DLC trailer will be then officially released for the public.
