The PS4 mod support for "Fallout 4" has been one of the most awaited updates for the game. However, it is still a no-show for PS4 console owners. Will it come after "Nuka-World" expansion later?

It didn't take that long for the PC version of Fallout 4 to get mod support. Shortly after, mod support for consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were also announced, but up until now PS4 mods aren't still supported. According to what PS4 owners were told, the process is still under "evaluation."

Bethesda Softworks Vice President Pete Hines himself provided the update to one fan who asked over Twitter about the status of the mod support for the PS4 console. What the fan only got was a "I have no new info."

As it stands right now, PS4 console players of "Fallout 4" may need to wait a bit longer. The mod support is also unlikely to be rolled out anytime soon even after the Nuka-World expansion as there are no official update or word from the developers.

On the bright side, the DLC expansion Nuka-World will finally be released this coming August 30 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC which will cost $19.99.

Before this date, Bethesda will also be holding a live-stream of the Nuka-World on Bethesda's official Twitch Channel. The stream is scheduled to start at 4pm ET/1pm PT. The live-streaming will focus on the final DLC for "Fallout 4."

Here's the official description for the Nuka-World DLC, which comes with a number of new quests and other goodies:

"Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders. Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will."

Be sure to stay tuned to get the latest updates for "Fallout 4."
