Apple's long-awaited release of its Apple Intelligence is still in its process, after appearing first publicly at this year's WWDC.

The users can enter a new world of stimulating new features engineered for their device with these latest developer betas of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. These updates include Genmoji, Image Playground, Visual Intelligence, and support for ChatGPT, among a host of other updates-all a milestone move in Apple's AI capabilities.

Features you have all been waiting for are now all set to roll out in the beta preview software through iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia (15.2). According to Forbes, some cool highlights include:

Genmoji: Custom emojis are going to be generated from your keyboard directly.
Image Playground: This is a creative site where users will receive images created based on the user's input.

Visual Intelligence: This feature lets users extract information from any surroundings.

ChatGPT Integration: Improve interaction with Siri to receive smarter responses and to use smart writing tools.

Meanwhile, the company announced that iOS 18.1 is due for public release next week. This will add all the unrequired features to the non-beta users including notification summaries and Apple's hearing test.

Genmoji: Custom Emojis at Your Fingertip

One of the more notable features introduced today is Genmoji, which lets you create custom emojis right from the emoji keyboard. Just tap on the Genmoji button, type out a description of the emoji you want, and Apple Intelligence generates tons of options for you. And you could even make Genmojis from photos of your friends, which makes it even more personalized.

Developers also get access to a Genmoji API, allowing third-party apps to seamlessly display those custom emojis.

Image Playground and Image Wand: Loosening Up

According to Engadget, Apple's Image Playground is both an application unto itself, as well as an extension of the Messages application. Users can build images that are implemented using description, or based on what has been discussed in conversation.

The style of the application relies more on its animation and illustration aesthetics as opposed to photorealism. This keeps clarity strong in its usage.

Image Wand extends the Apple Pencil tool palette, helping users refine rough sketches into professional artwork. That would be particularly helpful for artists looking to take their creations to the next level easily.

ChatGPT Integration Produces Smarter Siri

Starting with the integration of Siri with ChatGPT, users now undergo more dynamic conversations. On top of that, if a user types in a request for Siri to come up with an itinerary or a meal plan, Siri will suggest that using the assistant would yield the best result.

It is not necessary to make the usage suggestions possible or restricted in order for it to give you a custom-made experience. As far as information is concerned, no one needs to log into their ChatGPT account because the company is partnered with Apple for the protection of the users' data.

Visual Intelligence: The Future of Interacting with Smartphones

For the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro owner under developer beta, Visual Intelligence is an unprecedented way in which they can interact with the world. By pointing the camera at objects, users will get the answers to their questions—from solving math problems to menus translated. It uses third-party services such as Google and ChatGPT to bring as much information as possible.

While Apple Intelligence is expected to be an excellent addition to Cupertino-made devices, it might not reach its peak performance until 2027, according to an analyst.
