HoYoverse keeps adding new characters for each update that gamers can use. You could finally utilize Kachina, a four-star Geo user, and Mualani, a five-star Hydro DPS for this particular update. Both of them are obtainable through an event-exclusive quest.

According to GameRant, HoYoverse has been employing the strategy of dual banners—implying that more options are available to the player.

The Limited Character Banner of Genshin Impact will have two different five-star units, with a common lineup of four-star characters. Among many banners Genshin Impact has in store, this limited banner will surely be the most pursued because it's how new five-star characters are acquired.

Revenue Distribution of Kinich and Raiden Shogun

A chart recently released from the popular Genshin Impact site Paimon.moe illustrates and shows the blatant revenue disparity among currently featured five-star characters, Kinich and Raiden Shogun.

Data-wise, Kinich comprises close to 65% of the entire revenue of this banner. Not surprising since he's one of the only brand-new five-star characters in that banner cycle. He appeals to the player for his DPS abilities and in a unique playstyle with a grappling hook trademark that has caught the eye of many players.

Genshin Impact: Kinich's Meta Potential

Kinich may not be among the most potent Dendro units that Genshin Impact has to offer, yet he finds much popularity in terms of exploration. Players have clung to him, hoping that his potential in the meta will pick up as HoYoverse releases more support characters for Natlan, which work out very well with his playstyle.

This is not the first character to be perceived initially as underwhelming before later establishing himself as a superstar. The lackluster character Kokomi is now one of the central support units due to Dendro's elemental reactions, later released in the game.

Raiden Shogun's Inextinguishable Popularity

Someone sharing the banner with Kinich is Raiden Shogun, one of the most versatile, fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. Having come out more than three years ago, she still represents an S-tier character, and her versatility in just about every team composition makes her a huge value in various parties. Raiden's complete kit gives the ability to fulfill multiple roles and to be useful in any team dynamic except support.

Upcoming Banners and Future Characters

HoYoverse has developed a tendency to release at least one Archon shortly after the opening of a new significant region.

This time, because a recent Special Program took place, Genshin Impact Version 5.1 will welcome the Sumeru Archon, Nahida. She will be obtainable from the second banner cycle of this update, along with Hu Tao.

What's more, Chiori and Xilonen are also here, making the game's diverse roster even bigger.
