Bandai Namco has recently showcased new screenshots for their upcoming video game title "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
The screenshots, along with some new information about the game, were released by the game publisher earlier this week, Dualshockers reported.
In the new "Xenoverse" title, the main protagonist will be part of the Time Patrol, and will be working with the group to stop Demon God Demigra's plans. The player would have to tackle several enemies who will help make sure that Demigra gets what he wants: to alter time.
Online gameplay received a much needed overhaul from the previous "Xenoverse" title. Players may now fight co-op boss battles by covering different roles.
Apart from that, player avatars now have a wider array of customization options, paving the way for more diverse battle tactics.
Namco Bandai also announced new characters to be added in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" universe. Bardock, Turles and Cooler, who were nowhere to be found in the first title, will make an appearance in the upcoming sequel.
New types of missions will also be added, and will give the players a chance to infiltrate enemy forces and get a look at them from a brand-new perspective, according to Siliconera.
Another good news for Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners is that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will run at a smooth 60 FPS on their console, Bandai Namco announced.
The upcoming game has two special editions available, the Collector's Edition, which includes a 34cm fixed posed figure of Super Saiyan form Son Goku and tons of other goodies, and the Deluxe Edition.
Players who pre-order their copies of the game will get early access to the Tao Pai Pai Stick vehicle and a playable DLC of Goku Black, the antagonist of current anime series "Dragon Ball Super."
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be out for Playstation 4 and Xbox One on October 25 in North America, while the PC version will be released on October 28.
