The DLC was first announced to be made available exclusively for the Xbox One and PC platforms on June 28. Fortunately enough, PlayStation 4 owners only needed to wait for roughly a month to experience the additional content, "Underground" had to offer.
Here's Ubisoft's official post before the maintenance:
Greetings Agents,
The servers will shut down for maintenance on Tuesday, August 2 at 09:00 AM CEST / 03:00 AM EDT / 00:00 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 1 hour.
We will be deploying Underground for our PS4 users during this time.
Please follow this thread for any updates as the maintenance progresses.
Thank you,
The Division Team
The DLC "Undeground" introduces new contents to the game where players get to play and explore the Underground of New York via Solo Play or Co-Op.
"Undeground" also introduces "Operations" which will allow players battle out in randomly generated levels with varying traps and hazards.
Directives is also introduced and this will add another mechanic in the game that will let players change the rules of engagement for both the opposing forces.
A new incursion called "Dragon's Nest" is also added. This lets players travel to Hell's Kitchen and check the rumors regarding the "Cleaner" weapon, which can be a big threat to the entire Manhattan.
Players are required to be level 30 and have already cleared the mission "General Assembly" to gain access to the incursion. This is well-suited for group up to four players with decent gears.
Additional weapons and gears are also added in the mix. Namely B.L.I.N.D, DeadEYE, FireCrest, Reclaimer and one new weapon called B.L.I.N.D. System MDR Rifle.
Stay tuned for more updates and news about Tom Clancy's "The Division."
