Fans of the immensely popular "Dragon Ball Super" series are in for a whole lot of excitement. Spoilers for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 entitled "Inheritor of Saiyan Blood: Trunks' Resolve" recently popped up on the web.

Reports speculated that the upcoming 54th episode will feature Future Trunks unleashing his true potential as he seemingly transforms into his Super Saiyan Blue form for the first time. In view of the episode's title, some fans speculated that either Gohan or Future Trunks might be the successor to the superpower Saiyan blood, while some suggest that it could be an entirely new persona.

"Though they know that Zamasu and Black have extraordinarily similar Ki, they are unable to obtain any proof that the two are the same person," the brief summary of the episode reads. "Meanwhile, Vegeta tells the Trunks from the future, 'I'm going to give you some training'."

With Vegeta personally training Future Trunks, it seems that the Z fighter from the ravaged future would get stronger. Nonetheless, the said spoilers and predictions should be taken with a grain of salt since there is no official preview for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 yet.

It is important to take note that the anime series' episode 53 was rescheduled to air on July 31, Movie News Guide reported. The upcoming episode is entitled "Reveal Black's True Identity! Now, to the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 10."

Speculations are rife that Zamasu and Goku Black is the same individual. Recently, a 56-second preview for episode 53 began streaming online, showing Beerus, Whis and Son Goku heading to Universe 10. It is said that the latter will challenge Zamasu, who is noted to have comparative Ki to Goku Black, into a battle.

"After realizing that Black has the same Ki as Zamasu, Universe 10's apprentice Kaioshin, the God of Destruction Beerus and his attendant Whis head to Universe 10 together with Goku," the official synopsis of episode 53 reads.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 is slated to air on July 31, Sunday, to be followed by episode 54 on Aug. 7.
