The much anticipated real-time strategy game "Halo Wars 2" will be present at this year's San Diego Comic Con.

"Halo" fans will be happy to know that they will be able to get a sneak peek of "Halo Wars 2" at the popular convention this week, as announced recently on Xbox Wire.

Fans will be able to get a hands-on experience of the "Halo Wars 2" Strongholds multiplayer mode at Xbox's NERD HQ, which will be held at The New Children's Museum in San Diego.

Lucky "Halo" fans can also get a "Halo Wars 2" shirt designed by art director Jeremy Cook. MEGA Bloks will also build a replica of Atriox's Gravity Mace on site.

Apart from "Halo Wars 2," there will also be a lot more Xbox games available in NERD HQ, including hands-on time with "Forza Horizon 3," "ReCore" and "Below."

Also participating in NERD HQ is Square Enix Collective, Oculus, "Battlefield 1" and "Gears of War 4." Check out more information and register on the official NERD HQ website.

"Halo Wars 2" will also host a panel at SDCC next week. Titled "Halo Wars 2: Know Your Enemy," the panel will discuss the future of the "Halo" franchise and more.

The panel will be moderated by 343 Industries executive producer Kiki Wolfkill and will be joined by fellow 343 veterans Frank O' Connor, Dan Ayoub, and Kevin Grace. Special guests Dave Wilson of Blur Studio and Halo newcomer Erika Soto will also be joining the panel.

There will also be exclusive videos and surprises that await the panel's attendees. The "Halo Wars 2" panel will be held on Friday, July 22, 10:15 - 11:15 am at Room 6BCF. More information is available on the official SDCC schedule page.

There will also be lots of other "Halo" goodies to be found elsewhere in the convention. The Mattel booth will showcase a "Halo Wars 2" battle diorama, as well as an Exclusive Spartan Helioskrill Action Figure.

"Halo Wars 2" is scheduled to be released on February 21, 2017 for Xbox One and Windows 10, and is part of Microsoft's Play Anywhere program.
