"The Banner Saga 2" is an awesome game. However, as much as players may want to keep enjoying the game, its lifespan isn't that long. With an average of game time of 13 ½ hours on HowLongToBeat, players will tend to end up wanting for more. To help get your "Banner Saga" fill, here are some nice alternatives.

Like "The Banner Saga 2," "Baldur's Gate" is also a game heavily influenced by unique story elements. The HD remake available on Steam even has tons of nice features not available on the original game.
Some users on Steam, however, disagree with the idea of Baldur's Gate being similar to "The Banner Saga 2" since they play on entirely different mechanics.
Aside from the similar tactical fighting system, "Baldur's Gate" being similar to "The Banner Saga" games could be subjective. That is not to say that "Baldur's Gate" is not a great game on its own. It may even be better for some.

"The Last Remnant" may not be exactly as great as "The Banner Saga 2," but fans of JRPG and SRPG presented in a very unique may find Square-Enix's offering a good treat.
As to be expected with any Square-Enix game, "The Last Remnant" is also story-heavy, though the plot and main story progression may not be as great as "The Banner Saga 2." This entirely depends on the tastes of the players.
Though the artstyles may greatly differ, the same feeling of strategy and combat can be found with "The Last Remnant" and "The Banner Saga 2." With around 60+ hours of gameplay, players will have something to get busy with for a while.

Given that players may be looking for an alternative, "Fire Emblem" is definitely a good suggestion. However, it is only available on Nintendo platforms like the 3DS, the original DS, Gamecube, and Wii.
The game is very popular with its great storyline, which almost seem like an inspiration to "The Banner Saga 2" or the other way around. It is a strategy jrpg game which has a very long proven record of being awesome.
Still, this doesn't mean that players won't be able to play the game. If getting any of these platforms is not an option depending on the rarity of the products, using an emulator like "Dolphin" may be the answer. This will let players play dumped ISO files on their PCs like "Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn."
Be aware though that emulators like "Dolphin" require mid to high spec computers to run smoothly.
