The Samsung Galaxy S3 rumor mill is churning at a critical speed. And now we fear that it might tear away from its foundation. Why? Because the latest buzz is that Galaxy S3 has entered the testing phase at Korean secret base and Samsung may announce the new flagship model anytime.

Rumors about Galaxy S3's display are going through the roof. The latest buzz is that Samsung Galaxy S3 may boast of super high resolution display. Most of the underground reports are focused on 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. Samsung's current flagship smartphone - Galaxy S2 is well known for its Super AMOLED Plus display that generate absolute dark pixels.

This time, Galaxy S3 display is rumored to boast the best display ever to be seen on an Android smartphone. Reportedly, Galaxy S3 is going to be the first smartphone to feature HD resolution without Pentile OLED display (Galaxy Note, Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S2 HD have Pentile matrix).

Coming to specs, the phone will boast quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with 1 or 2GB of RAM. Galaxy S2 has one of the best 8 megapixel camera. But Galaxy S3 can even sport a better camera, possibly a 12-megapixel snapper that will record 1080p videos at 60fps. A front-facing 2-megapixel camera is not being ruled out.

Samsung Galaxy S3 is also expected to feature 4G LTE support and NFC chip. According to rumors, it will run on Android OS 4.x, dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich, with TouchWiz v5.0 overlay.

According to Korean Web site AsiaE, Samsung is already testing its new flagship model with different South Korean network carriers. Testing phase is generally two months long but this time Samsung is speeding up the process. The new smartphone is expected to be unveiled before the end of May.

Samsung Galaxy S2 is hugely popular but with Galaxy S3, the Korean tech giant is aiming to break all the records the company made with its current flagship model.
