The latest update on the much-awaited next installment of the simulation game, FIFA 17, suggests that its release date has been set for September 2016. The reports suggest that EA Sports recently confirmed the release date of the football game with a new story mode option.
PC Advisor reported that the new FIFA 17 would be released with major enhancements, as the developer, EA Sports, has moved the gaming series to their Frostbite Engine. Due to this change, the upcoming football simulation game is expected to feature more realistic animations and enhanced facial capture. The game will also sport improved motion capture functionality in the new installment.
The new engine is reported to make the animations of the game even more exciting. Irish Examiner reported that the players would experience more lighting facility during night matches, more active crowds, and selectable celebrations. Further, the reports suggested that with the Frostbite Engine, the graphics of FIFA 17 would be similar to other games like Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1.
With the release date rumors, many reports have claimed that with the new FIFA 17, the players would get access to new pitch areas, changing rooms and tunnels for pre-match and post-match interviews. But, the biggest and most exciting addition to the upcoming football game is the story mode feature, The Journey, reported Segment Next.
The main character of the FIFA 17 story mode is Alex Hunter, who is a rising football star. The journey for the player is shown to be in the initial stages of his career, where he is looking forward to signing with one of the Premiership teams. IGN claimed that The Journey mode is all about the player's performance, decisions made on and off the pitch and the career growth.
Besides, the story mode will allow the gamers to decide in which position they want to play in the upcoming FIFA 17. There are reports that EA Sports have consulted professional players like Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford in order to make the story mode more realistic.
Apart from the release date and story mode rumors, there are reports that EA Sports is currently focusing on improving the FIFA 17 gameplay, AI, attacking techniques and better ball control.
