"Kingdom Hearts 3" did not make an appearance at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, but the game's co-director Tai Yasue revealed new information about the game on Square Enix's livestream.

Yasue confirmed that there will be no plans of adding any "Final Fantasy" worlds to the upcoming game, saying that the team is focusing on making original worlds and worlds based on the Disney franchise, Gamespot reports.

"A lot of the original worlds had 'Final Fantasy' characters in them," Yasue said. "At this moment, we are not really coming up with any plans for that, we're making original worlds and Disney worlds."

In the previous "Kingdom Hearts" games, the main protagonist Sora travels through different worlds with his pals Donald and Goofy. Each of the worlds represent a popular Disney title, and comes with its own unique monsters and characters from the represented franchise.

Previous worlds include Disney animated films like "The Little Mermaid", "Winnie the Pooh", "Beauty and the Beast" and "Tarzan." The games also featured popular Disney movies like "Pirates of the Carribean" and "Tron".

Yasue explained how the team comes up with the various Disney worlds that appear in the "Kingdom Hearts" games.

"The best thing would be to have Disney Worlds every recognize and are famous, but that are also distinct and unique," Yasue added. "We want the difference and variety, we don't' want a lot of the same thing."

Square Enix has already confirmed the appearance of Disney worlds like San Fransokyo in "Big Hero 6" and The Kingdom of Corona in "Tangled," as announced in the official Kingdom Hearts Youtube page.

Since then, tons of speculations about other possible Disney worlds like "Frozen", "Wreck-it-Ralph" and "Toy Story" emerged, as reported on other sites, but none of these were confirmed by Square Enix.

More "Kingdom Hearts 3" information will be revealed in Winter.
