Nokia Lumia 900, which was earlier scheduled to hit AT&T stores on March 18, is now expected to be released in April 22. In late January, an AT&T insider revealed that the new Lumia smartphone would be sold for $99 with a 2-year contract.
Making preparations for the latest Nokia release also means that the AT&T will drop the price from HTC Titan, as it is getting ready as well for the launch of its successor, the HTC Titan II. This means that former version from HTC smartphone will now be sold for only a penny on contract if purchased directly via their online store. Needless to say, that customers in the search of a great HTC brand new smartphone will be excited, as only a month ago the Titan was carrying a $200 price tag.
In terms of characteristics, the latest version of Titan will reportedly have a shocking 16-megapixel rear-facing camera on a 4.7-inch screen, although it does not score points when it comes to exterior aspect. In comparison, the latest Nokia Lumia 900 is not as boxy as the HTC competitor, and it also comes wrapped in a beautiful cyan color. Lumia 900 is also equipped with a good camera, featuring Carl-Zeiss inspired lens, although it carries only a 4.3-inch AMOLED display and a matte finish. In addition, Lumia 900 will be the first edge phone Nokia released in partnership with Microsoft, which means it will be using the latest Windows 7 technology.
Nokia and Microsoft will be reportedly investing a large amount of money on marketing the latest smartphone.
