While the announcement of Pokemon Go is expected this week, the fresh gameplay footage allegedly leaked on the Internet.

As per Comicbook, the leaked footage that shows the evolution process has been taken down already. Pokemon has been very adamant about keeping things private before the big launch.

However, there might be some beta testers that was teased to leak the said clip to build the hype among hardcore Pokemon gamers, noted Vine Report. But the culprit must have omitted out from having beta testing privileges.

According to the website, Niantic will sort a way to find out who leaked the footage, suggesting that the leak was legitimate. As for the evolution process, the playthrough teaser showed the evolution process of some Pokémon character such as Abra- which evolved into a new form - Kadabra.

In the previous versions, Pokemon evolves naturally or with the help of a certain item. However, in Pokemon Go, players are required to gather Evolution Shards for evolution which can be obtained by catching the same type of Pokémon repeatedly so the players must "travel more."

Meanwhile, Pokemon Sun and Moon teaser was unveiled on May 10 which already gathered more than 6 million views. The starter introduced three new characters, Litten, Rowlett and Popplio.
