CES 2016 has introduced a lot of interesting products this year, and to think it is still far from being over. Aside from interesting new smartphones and gadgets, one that stands out is the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator. This smart fridge comes with a gigantic built-in touch screen. The Family Hub refrigerator is said to have been also equipped with cameras.

Before the Korean electronics company could even unveil its latest creation at CES on Monday, official photos of the appliance has already been making its rounds on the Internet. The photos have been leaked out in Flickr by the Samsung Newsroom.

The smart fridge is currently being called the refrigerator of the future because of its build and the features it comes with. One of these features is its 21.5-inch 1080p monitor that is built on the outside of the fridge. A few cameras and sensors have been built within the fridge to be able to project what is inside to the outside screen, thus allowing users to know what's inside their refrigerator without the need to open the fridge doors to check it.

Overall, the fridge looks like the normal standard refrigerator, but there is notably a big smartphone attached to its door, which seems to be powered by an Android operating system. We mentioned that one can check the insides of the fridge without opening its doors, and that in part is thanks to a specially developed smartphone app.

But one might ask, what makes it a smart fridge? The answer lies in its ability to inform its users or owners if they need to buy a particular food item, notify them if these food items are on sale and even allow their owner to order them. Talk about the convenience that this will bring.

Aside from this feature, users can also post reminders and messages to their family on the fridge's display using the said specially developed app. The screen can also be used to connect to the web, search for recipes and other web pages to help the user specially when preparing meals for the family. Samsung's Family Hub fridge is also equipped with speakers to allow the user to listen to a radio station while preparing meals.

So when will Samsung make it available? As of now there are no announcements coming from the Korean tech company regarding this detail. However, there are some speculations that it will be first made available on the Korean market before being marketed in other places.
