Another week, another day, another smartphone has been leaked. Joining the list for leaked phone images and details is Huawei's P9 Max. Huawei's talked about large screen smartphone was seen appearing on AnTuTu benchmarks shared by GizmoChina, including some information about its specifications.

The leak also reveals the company's recently launched Kirin 950 SoC processor as a part of the said phablet. The Kirin 950 SoC processor, which was unveiled last week by Huawei in a Beijing event, features four Cortex-A72 cores that are at 2.3 GHz and another four Cortex-A53 with 1.8 GHz.

Huawei P9 Max is rumored to be the successor of the company's earlier phablet, the Huawei P8 Max, which was released earlier this year. Huawei P9 Max according to the details leaked, will be having a 6.2 inch screen with a 1600 x 2560 pixel resolution display and a pixel density of 486 ppi. It will be running with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Huawei's homemade octa core Kirin 950 processor. P9 Max will also be having Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, a 4 GB RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB.

The AnTuTu benchmark results also showed that Huawei P9 Max scored 73,759 in the benchmarks and its 3D graphics score was at 16,822. For now, Huawei P9 Max has no launch date or price details yet. It is highly unlikely though that it would be released anytime soon this year as they had just launched their P8 and P8 Max smartphones. If ever the most likely release could be early or late next year - that is, if there really is a P9 Max smartphone, as we all know benchmarks can be easily faked. So until Huawei does indeed release any hints regarding about it, we will never be too sure.

Aside from the P9 Max, Huawei will be launching its Mate 8 phablet soon. Huawei has released a teaser last week that indicates that the launch date of the phablet might be on Nov. 26. According to the leaked roadmaps, Mate 8 phablet might also feature a 6 inch display and a 16 MP rear camera. It will also be running on Kirin 950 SoC if the leaks are really accurate.
