Because of Apple's relatively unchanged format of releasing new gadgets, it doesn't come as a surprise that rumors circulate and often come into fruition once the big reveal takes place. We've had snippets of information fed to us since iOS 9's unveiling and these "leaks" from various sources only aim to hype the next big device. So far, that's been working for Apple and the iPhone 6s is no exception.

Physical Dimensions: 138.3 x 67.1 mm and weighs 143 g at 7.1 mm thickness

Display: 4.7 inches with 750 x 1334 pixels (~326 ppi pixel density); multitouch

Memory: 16/64/128 GB

Camera: 12 MP, 4608 x 2592 pixels (primary); 5 MP secondary

If the specs on the iPhone 6s doesn't impress you, don't be fooled. Most of the changes and upgrades are not entirely superficial, apart from a sturdier design to counteract the bendgate issue. The new iOS 9 alone has made huge improvements to Siri that now enables the "always-listening" function. Previously, the "hey, Siri" command only works when your device is plugged in. It also includes its very own Apple Maps, which gives you information on public transports, a feature that was previously exclusive to Google.

There's also the addition of the "3D Touch", which enables your device to differentiate a touch from a forceful push and gives you a different interface for each. Apple has also introduced "Live Photos" feature where still shots also record a bit of audio and video that plays as a sort of behind -the-scenes look at every photo you take.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and its bigger brother, the iPhone 6s Plus, will be available this Saturday. The iPhone 6s is expected to be priced at about $199 on a two-year contract for the 16 GB, $299 for the 64 GB and $399 for the 128 GB.
