Specs and codenames just surfaced online for two purported Lumia flagships expected to come later this year with Windows 10 out of the box.

Microsoft's latest Windows 10 has stirred an enormous amount of interest in recent times, and the new OS is expected to bring awesome features and capabilities to smartphones. The company has already launched a few Windows 10-ready handsets, but they run Windows Phone 8.1 for now and are scheduled to receive an update to the latest OS once it rolls out.

What Microsoft has not unveiled so far, however, is a high-end flagship or a smartphone with Windows 10 out of the box. If a new report turns out to be accurate, the company may in fact have two high-end flagships that will rock the latest OS from the very beginning.

An exclusive new report from Unleash the Phones reveals that Microsoft will release two high-end Lumias codenamed Cityman and Talkman later this year, and offers some specifications for the two purported handsets. In a separate report, The Verge confirms the codenames and lists some specs as well.

The Cityman handset is expected to rock a 5.7-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter, a 3,300 mAh removable battery, and microSD support for expandable storage. This phablet will reportedly support the new Windows 10 Continuum for Phones feature as well, which will allow the device to serve as a PC by connecting to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

The other smartphone, codenamed Talkman, will reportedly sport a smaller 5.2-inch display with the same QHD resolution, and some of the same specs as the CityMan including 3GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter. The difference, however, is that Talkman will reportedly have a hexa-core processor under the hood and a slightly smaller 3,000 mAh battery, not just a smaller screen.

Both the Cityman and Talkman will reportedly feature a triple-LED flash for better photos, The Verge reported.

It remains unclear at this point just when these two high-end Lumias will see the light of day, but they will likely arrive sometime in the second half of this year. Until formal confirmation, however, take this leak with a grain of salt.
