The Moto X is finally ready to make its long-awaited debut in the UK, launching on Feb. 1 with a £380 price tag unlocked.

All major UK retailers will reportedly offer the smartphone, but there's a caveat. While U.S. customers get the chance to customize their device via Moto Maker, UK buyers will not have the same opportunity, at least not for now.

In terms of specifications, the Moto X sports a 4.7-inch touchscreen AMOLED display with a 720p HD resolution. Under the hood, the company's new flagship packs a Motorola X8 mobile computing system that features a customized version of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz, coupled with quad-core graphics and 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with 32GB of internal storage capacity, a 10-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel HD front-facing shooter. Motorola is also throwing in 50GB of Google Drive storage for free for two years.

The Moto X also gained lots of positive reviews for its great functionality, as the smartphone is always listening for the owner's voice and allows for easy and smart management. The handset will also recognize the owner's voice and will not complete commands issued by others.

Motorola UK already has a page up for the Moto X, but as previously mentioned, the Moto Maker customization tool will not be available at first. Considering that the Moto X doesn't have very high-end specs, its advanced customization options were among the main reasons why consumers were interested in the smartphone. The company's CEO Dennis Woodside, however, said that the Moto Maker will launch in the UK as soon as Motorola works out the details in order to deliver the units within the same four-day window as it does in the U.S.

Launching on Feb. 1 in the UK, the Moto X will be available in black through Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u, O2, Amazon, and Techdata. Phones4u will reportedly sell the white version of the handset as well, as it has exclusivity on this model for three months.

While the Moto X will cost £380 unlocked, it will also be available for around £25 a month when it makes its official debut and hits store shelves.
