A new batch of updates are coming on its way for some of Motorola's devices, including the Moto M, Moto X and Moto Z smartphone line.

Moto M

On November 11th, the company has released its latest mid-ranged phone named the Moto M in China, UAE, India and other locations. The device features a 2.5-dimentional curved glass with a 5.5-inch, full-HD (1920x1080 pixel) resolution IPS display, a quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor, and 3 to 4 GB of RAM.

Just one month after its release, the company announced that the device will receive its Android Nougat update, via Motorola India's Twitter account. However, there are no further announcements on the update's exact rollout date.

The Moto M hasn't been officially released on the West just yet, but the unlocked variant offered in UAE (model XT1664) runs on stock Android and is compatible with North American carriers.

Moto X

Recent reports suggest that an Android Nougat 7.1 update is on its way to the Moto X Play (instead of 7.0), as the device with the latest software was spotted on GFXbench. The update is highly expected to roll out in the next few weeks or days.

Other devices within the Moto X line will also receive an Android Nougat 7.0 update, including the Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, and Moto X Force. Similar to the Moto M, however, there are no exact details on the update's release dates.

Moto Z

The Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Droid Force has already received the Android Nougat update last month, and the Moto Z update was rolled out a few weeks ago.

A few more devices are expected to have its own Android Nougat update, including The Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2. However, a few devices namely the Moto G3 and Moto E3, may not be able to receive a Nougat update anymore.

Stay tuned for as soon as new information regarding Motorola's Android N update emerges.
