Motorola's official U.S. website has a new page, listing an unannounced Droid Ultra smartphone along with some specs, but no image of the upcoming handset.

The page makes no mention of the popular RAZR branding, so that seems to be off the table with this handset. In an interesting twist, the complete list of specs mentioned on the new Droid Ultra page shows the exact same specs as the older Droid RAZR M. One mention, however, makes an intriguing difference.

"Available in a bunch of glossy colors, this high-grade DuPont Kevlar body proves you can be even thinner and still be tough as steel," touts Motorola's new product page for the Droid Ultra.

That paragraph apparently fills in for an actual picture of the device, as Motorola placed at the top of the page. The company also makes no mention of release date for this Droid Ultra smartphone, but the listing suggests an imminent launch.

In terms of specs, the Droid Ultra will sport a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD (540 x 960) display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 8GB of internal storage (4.5GB actually available to users) and a micro SD card slot for additional memory of up to 32GB. An 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter with VGA video capture are also on board. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and can serve as a 3G or 4G mobile hotspot for up to eight other devices.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0, CDMA 800/1900, LTE B13, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 EVDO Rev. A, HSDA 21.1Mbps (Cat 14) and HSUPA 5.76Mbps. The Droid Ultra will also be NFC-enabled.

The new Motorola Droid Ultra will sport an aluminum frame with a "diamond cut spin" on the black model. A 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery promises up to 20 hours of mixed usage.

Roughly one week ago, notorious tipster @evleaks claimed that Motorola and Verizon were partnering up once again to continue milking their Droid RAZR line. The leaker said that new phones called the Droid RAZR Ultra and the RAZR M Ultra will soon join Verizon's lineup. Motorola's site now seems to confirm the Ultra line of phones, but makes no mention of RAZR. Any thoughts?
