The Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone starred in various rumors and leaks, but now it seems that official press renders of the handset finally surfaced.

The press renders offer a good look at the front and back of the smartphone, as well as the side profile. The Huawei Ascend P6 seems to be rocking a solid, clean-looking design with a thin profile and a handsome display.

The official press renders come from notorious tipster @evleaks and seem to fall in line with previously leaked images of the device. Those leaks mostly focused on the thinness of the handset but the images spotted the device in the wild and were not perfectly crisp and clear.

The press renders now show the front of the handset and the Emotion user interface (UI) on the display, but they still don't offer a full, final spec list for the Huawei Ascend P6. More specs will probably leak soon, but Huawei has a press event scheduled. The event will take place on June 18 in London and is dubbed the "Beauty" event, teasing something "worth waiting for."

The Huawei Ascend P6 will most likely make its official debut at the June 18 event, but the company made no official announcement just yet. It remains unclear at this point just what markets will get the new Huawei Ascend P6, but the smartphone will likely not reach U.S. shores.

Previous rumors regarding the smartphone hinted toward a 4.7-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Huawei did not make anything official yet, however, which means that all rumored specs and features may or may not prove accurate. Until the company decides to officially list specs for the upcoming Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone it's all in the rumor state, so take things with a grain of salt. June 18 is not far away, which means more details will arrive soon enough, along with the handset itself.
