The iOS community greeted the recent launh of eavsi0n untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.0/6.1. However, if you're not too keen on eavsi0n, with the release of Flex, you can now create your own iPhone jailbreak tweaks.

Flex is a jailbreak app that will enable you to create your own jailbreak tweaks such as show all timestamps in messages, show contact photo's in messages, and more.

"Flex lets you exercise the limits of your device by enabling you to make your own jailbreak tweaks. The Flex Community cloud features tweaks shared by Flex users, and lets you download and install these tweaks instantly," noted the developer of Flex.

Some developers consider Flex to be very powerful for the average user and believe that Flex shouldn't be released, whereas others are of the opinion that it's a great attempt to get users familiar with how iOS works on a low level.

Flex operates as a standalone application and is more than a minor tweak. No programming knowledge is required to use Flex and doesn't require any advanced Xcode or Objective-C knowledge to make the best use of the application.

Additionally, users who want to see and download other users' creations can access the shared packages directly through the application.

Reports indicate that Flex is available as a $3.99 download from the BigBoss repo and is compatible with all iPhones and iPods running iOS 5.X and 6.X.

"It's definitely one of the more unique offerings on the Cydia platform, and we think thousands of new devices that are about to enter the world of jailbreaking will definitely benefit from experimenting with Flex," noted Redmond Pie.

Now with the app available to public, we should see various tweaks emerging soon.
