Pokémon GO is turning it all upside down with Beldum as a Tier 3 Max Battle Boss.
If you're up for the challenge of this Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon, you may receive that epic reward: the guaranteed encounter of Dynamax Beldum. And chances are really, really good that you'll end up taking home the Shiny Dynamax Beldum and not its regular version.
Then again, don't go in unprepared. You will need to understand the weaknesses that Beldum has and build up the right team if you want to crush it in battle.
GameRant reports that to enter a Max Battle versus Beldum, 400 Max Particles will be needed. The bad news is that they only get deducted if you win. It can accommodate four players at once, but remote raiding is not possible. Jumping into action must be done within 80 meters of the Power Spot.

As a dual Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon, Beldum has some weaknesses and resistances. Knowing which moves will strike the best can be the difference between victory and defeat.
Metagross' unevolved form is weak to Dark-type moves, Fire-type moves, Ghost-type moves, and Ground-type moves. However, it's strong against Dragon-type moves, Fairy-type moves, Flying-type moves, Grass-type moves, Ice-type moves, Normal-type moves, Rock-type moves, Steel-type moves, Poison-type moves, and Psychic-type moves.
It is always helpful to know what you are up against before any battle, so check out what to expect from Beldum. Here are Beldum's stats in Pokémon GO.
Dynamax Beldum may look cool, but with the help of the right Pokémon and strategy, it can be taken down even in solitary battles. Make sure that your counter is within its weakness for an increased probability of bringing it down.
One of the best counters against Beldum is Charmander, ScreenRant suggests. This will later evolve into Dynamax Charizard which has Max Flare and Blast Burn as its Fast and Charge Move, respectively.
Other counters you can use include:
Dynamax Blastoise
Dynamax Venusaur
Dynamax Greedent
Dynamax Dubwool
Sometimes, winning the battle will get you a Dynamax Beldum. Maybe your luck will make it a shiny Beldum.
Of course, there's no definitive method of getting that shiny Dynamax Beldum, but it will boost the more battles you have done. Just keep grinding on those max battles and pray for that elusive shiny encounter.
