The design of the Huawei Watch GT 5 series has been a topic of much speculation, especially after Huawei's recent announcement of its TruSense technology-an advanced health-sensing system.
A promotional video showcasing TruSense features gave us a sneak peek at what is believed to be the Watch GT 5 series.
According to GSM Arena, the smartwatch features an octagonal-like dial casing with a bold rotating crown positioned on the upper left side, complemented by a feature button at the bottom.
Furthermore, the device also includes a wireless charging panel on the back and thick straps designed for better grip.
As we get closer to the launch date, Huawei is expected to release more teasers, providing a clearer look at this highly anticipated wearable.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 series is expected to come with a host of upgraded features. The smartwatch will likely run on an enhanced version of Huawei's operating system, potentially offering smoother transitions and a more responsive user experience.
According to leaks from Weibo, the device might even debut with a software version higher than HarmonyOS 4.2, although official details will only be confirmed at the launch event.
The Watch GT 5 series will reportedly be available in two size variants: 41mm and 46mm. Additionally, the lineup is expected to include a Pro model, which will come with advanced capabilities. One of the standout features of the Pro model is its IP68 rating, allowing it to withstand depths of up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Charging the Watch GT 5 series will be convenient, with support for an 18W power adapter. However, the real highlight of this wearable is the TruSense technology, which boasts the ability to provide 98% accurate heart rate and blood pressure readings. The advanced health sensor can monitor over 60 health indicators and even detect emotional stress levels.
