In the bid to lure youth and selfie lovers, Samsung is gearing up to launch its new handset dubbed, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro.

The Galaxy C7 Pro boasts an array of awe-inspiring specs and features, which include a 16MP front-facing camera and Super AMOLED display for the selfie addicts, but there's more! Let's take a gander at what other aces Samsung has up its sleeve in terms of specifications and features.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro: Features

Samsung's mid-tier phone, the Galaxy C7 Pro arrived in India on Friday, April 7 bearing a price tag of INR 27,990 (about $435). The recently launched Galaxy smartphone is a 5.7-inch phablet, which is housed in a full-metal body. In terms of security, the Galaxy C7 Pro offers a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Unlike the 2017 variant of the Galaxy S5 which sells nearly for the same price, the Galaxy C7 Pro does not feature essential takeaways such as Samsung Pay support, IP68 certification, and Always-on display to name a few, according to IndiaToday. On the brighter side, it packs a more powerful processor in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, under the hood.

Moreover, the C7 Pro has 4GB of RAM, which is comparatively more than what the Galaxy A5 2017 offers. As if that weren't enough, the Galaxy A5 sports a smaller 5.2-inch display.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro: Specifications

The Galaxy C7 Pro packs a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. As far as the internal storage if concerned, it offers 64GB of memory which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot, Gadgets360 reported.

The Galaxy C7 Pro sports a massive 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen (1080p) with Corning's Gorilla Glass 4 on top. On the photography front, it has a 16MP rear sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 1080p video recording, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. The device's 16MP primary camera comes with f/1.9 aperture.

The C7 Pro runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based TouchWiz UI and is backed by a robust 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support. TheIndianExpress' Anuj Bhatia hopes the battery could last about a day on a single charge; however, there's no official word regarding the lifespan of the device's battery.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro: Other Features

The Galaxy C7 Pro is basically the moderated version of the Galaxy C9 Pro, a 6-inch phone with 6GB of RAM -- which was unveiled in January this year.

The C7 Pro boasts a solid full-metal body featuring curved 2.5D glass and a fingerprint scanner on the front. It also has physical capacitive keys for navigation.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro offers USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing, NFC, 4G LTE and Dual-SIM.
