The Motorola X 2017 is making noise in the smartphone arena at present. The latest claims about the upcoming device include a snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage to name a few.

The Motorola's former flagship, Moto X, which was first released to the market in 2015 is believed to return this 2017. However, this comeback might not turn out not according to what the Motorola fans expected. Lenovo, which already acquired the Motorola brand last year, is designated to work on Moto Z family devices.

A recent post on Twitter showed images of thought to be the next generation Moto X devices. In addition to this pictures, a number of surprising specs of the smartphone were stated. Comparing the Moto X of 2015 and the Moto X of 2017, the latter appears to be a midrange device.

The validation of the authenticity of this information is still a work in progress but the quality of the leaked images show an unreleased Motorola smartphone. The said smartphone can be considered captivating for being covered with a brushed metal shell with antenna lines at the top and bottom.

It also has a dominant dual camera set at the back, just a bit above of the iconic Motorola batwing logo. It has a 5.5-inch display and a fingerprint sensor right at the bottom of the device. Those netizens who already had a peek at the leaked images noted that the bezel on the device is quite vital but the said AMOLED panel with full HD or QHD resolution screen is still for confirmation.

Although the leaked images show a pretty design, it is relatively similar to the manufacturer's other smartphones. The Moto X 2017 will be equipped with a conservative 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage. These similar specs are also found on cheaper brands like Asus Zenfone 3 Max.

Lenovo could actually provide a Snapdragon 821 to this device for a more competitive performance. It will definitely boost the battery life of the upcoming Moto X 2017. Motorola fans have another worry about the Moto x 2017, says 9to5google.

As illustrated in the leaked images, connector pins for the iconic MotoMods were not seen. This will be a disadvantage to the compatibility on Moto Z abundant ad-on. Speculations on unveiling the upcoming Moto X 2017 would probably be later on in this year, giving way to the recently released devices of the company as it was announced at Mobile World Congress. The price of Moto X 2017 is still unknown but the details about its specs suggest a lower value than the Moto Z.
