Apple is finalizing a deal to acquire Workflow, a tool that lets users hook together apps. The new deal is set to improve the Cupertino-based company's accessibility features.

The iOS app created by a team that includes a former iPhone jailbreaker is very excited about the prospect. Although Apple declined to comment, experts believe that it could be worth millions.

Workflow has been around for a couple of years. It shares similarities with the IFTTT service. It allows users to group together a bunch of actions. Allowing them to perform complicated tasks all with one app.

The app has already built up a sizeable number of users and downloads over the past few years. The team of Ari Weinstein, Conrad Kramer, Ayaka Nonaka and Nick Frey has made one amazing app.

In an uncommon move, the app will continue to be available on the app store. It will also be free for million of iOS users later today.

Workflow won an Apple Design Award in 2015. Apple Accessibility engineer Dean Hudson was impressed on how the app handled accessibility. He later added that when he first saw the app noted that "it was off the charts."

Apple and the team behind Workflow are ecstatic to begin their collaboration. The acquisition is set to improve the company's accessibility features. The app has already shown its outstanding use of accessibility for the iOS platform.

Workflow impressively used VoiceOver with clear labeled items. Including thoughtful hints and drag and drop announcements. The features made the app usable and accessible to those who are blind or having low vision.

The apps existing integrations are extensive and will continue to be updated. To see more how the app works you can check out Federico Viticci's review.

Apple is now set to take advantage of Workflow's super impressive features. It's the perfect tool for building complicated macros. But that's not all, it also enables users to dip into specific "deep linked" functions of apps. Basically, it connects those actions together into a stream of seamless, invisible commands.
