While the rumor mill continues to swirl all sorts of speculations around the Xiaomi Mi 6, details about the upcoming flagship smartphone are still scarce, thanks to the lack of steady leaks.
Lining with this, yet another alleged image of the Xiaomi Mi 6 seem to have found its way on the internet through Chinese microblogging website, Weibo (via PlayfulDroid). The recently surfaced image does seem to be an official render; however, Xiaomi is in no mood to spill the beans about the Mi 6.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Rumors & Leaks: Fake Or Genuine?
It's no secret that leaks, more often than not, come from unofficial sources, and as a result, we can't really be sure. That being said, the leaked image of the Xiaomi Mi 6's is black, on a black background, which seems quite impractical. Nevertheless, the image gives the tech buffs a brief glimpse of quite a few preeminent details including the chamfering at the back, just like on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
This echoes previously surfaced reports that indicated the Mi 6 and the Mi Note 2 will be quite similar in terms of design; however, this report does not coincide with other rumors that have been hinting at ceramic as the material of choice.
Besides, this overall aesthetic is a major deviation from a previously surfaced purported live shot of the Mi 6. Unlike the latest render that shows a dual setup on the back of the device, the aforesaid live shot trotted out a single camera on the back, GSM Arena reported.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Rumors & Leaks: Specifications & Price
According to multiple sources, there will be three models of the Xiaomi Mi 6, one of which could sport a dual-curved display. In terms of specifications, rumors running rampant online suggest the lower end Mi 6 will have 4GB of RAM, coupled with 32GB of internal storage, Full-HD display.
The "Pro" or "Prime" version of the Mi 6, on the other hand, will pack 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and QHD. Under the hood, the device could offer different chipset options. While the range topper, according to GizChina, could pack Snapdragon 835 processor, the entry version, on the other hand, could come bearing a 1999 Yuan (about $289) price tag with a MediaTek Helio X30 chipset.
Nothing is set in stone at the moment; however, more concrete details are likely to surface online in near future. Watch this space for more Xiaomi Mi 6 news and update!
