With the advent of Android smartphones, the once leading mobile manufacturer, Nokia gradually lost its luster. Now, the company has teamed up with HMD Global in order to breathe new life into its fading consumer base. Nokia made its comeback public by unveiling the Nokia 6 Android phone.

Lining with this, the handset maker released Nokia 6 and much to their delight; it was very well received worldwide. Aside from that, Nokia even revamped its iconic 3310 feature phone, taking the mobile phone realm by storm.

Now, it's hardly surprising that the popular handset maker's upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed, Nokia 8 has been subject to a slew of rumors and leaks. Tech pundits, on the other hands, have taken to social media hazarding all sorts of guesses regarding the devices specs, features, and other details. Let's delve into them.

Nokia 8 Specs & Features

One of Nokia 8's most striking features includes its 23MP rear camera, which features carl Zeiss lens, according to AndroidHeadlines. HMD Global is reportedly all set to launch the high-end flagship smartphone in June 2017.

Not too long ago, rumors about a Vivo smartphone having the Carl Zeiss lens were running rampant online, but that has not come to fruition until now. Moreover, Nokia has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors. There's hearsay that Nokia is currently testing the aforesaid features.

Nokia 8: Two Different Models Likely

Apple and Samsung have been releasing their flagship smartphones -- iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 -- in two different sizes bearing similar specifications and now, Nokia is looking to follow suit. Nokia 8 is expected to hit the store shelves in two different sizes, each packing identical specs.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 chipset will be reportedly powering up both the Nokia 8 variants, which are likely to pack 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The flagship Nokia smartphones will sport a metal unibody design.

Nokia 8 will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED bezel-less display with QHD resolution. In addition to the SD 835 chipset, there's word floating around that the device could also feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 chipset. The flagship smartphone will offer 64GB and 128GB of storage options, BGR reported.

In the photography front, the Nokia 8 will sport 24MP rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a mammoth 12MP front shooter for the selfie addicts and video calling.

Nokia 8 Price
