Despite being already more than two years old, the life simulation video game, "The Sims 4," still continues to have a strong player base. Due to this fact, the game's developer, Maxis, and The Sims Studio have continued to support the game with constant updates and downloadable content (DLC) packs. While the decision for the theme of any particular DLC rests solely on the developers of the game, there are times when they do take suggestions from fans.

"The Sims 4" players constantly message the game's developers on social media to ask them for specific things they want to see added to the game. Surprisingly, some developers do respond to the requests, which gives fans hope that their wish may be granted. A report from Telegiz reveals that the latest response received by a fan was through Twitter from a known designer involved with "The Sims 4."

The game's designer, with the Twitter name SimGuruDaniel, replied to a fan's inquiry about possibly adding seasons to the game. The designer responded to a question about how exactly they would go about applying seasons to the game and if the weather would only change on specific worlds.

Several fans also chimed in giving their own suggestions on how a season-themed update would work. One fan suggested that a future update could include different "vacation worlds" that will feature different weather systems. Players could them visit them to enjoy different activities. Maxis has yet to confirm if they are indeed exploring this idea, but the designer's response is encouraging.

Meanwhile, "The Sims 4" is set to receive its latest DLC called the "Bowling Stuff Pack." Some fans had expressed disappointments with the relatively uninventive new DLC, but developers have assured fans that the DLC will not just involve adding bowling-themed stuff. According to another game designer, the bowling DLC will be adding different fun activities that can be played with friends and family. It was also revealed that different bowling alleys will be offered with the upcoming DLC.
