The highly popular strategy mobile video game, "Clash Royale," is set to receive yet another big feature in the coming months. The new features will increase the strategic aspect of the game as it will now allow two players, presumably clan mates, to go against two other players in an all-out 2 vs. 2 battle royale

According to the recently held Radio Royale podcast, via Touch Arcade, the brand new feature will apparently be called the "Clan Battle" feature. Based on the screenshot shared for the alleged new multiplayer mode, the entire stage will apparently be extended to four tiles in order to fit in two king's towers. This means that there will be a total of four players and four devices at play all at once during the particular mode.

Similar to regular tournaments and battles, each player will still have access to a total of 10 elixirs. However, each player's elixir will replenish 15 percent slower than usual. This is likely to prevent the flooding of units within the battlefield and to prevent the game from being too chaotic.

Summoned Elixir Collector cards will unfortunately not be shared amongst the team members. However, other buff spells such as the Rage spell and the Rage dropped by the Lumberjack will affect all units in the team that had used it. Some of the mechanics of the new feature have yet to be revealed, but Supercell should be coming out with more information as the feature gets closer to being released.

The developer has also yet to reveal when exactly they would be making the new mode available. Supercell is expected to release four new cards within the game's next big update. The cards will likely be released in regular intervals, similar to how the developer had released the last cards that were announced late last year. It isn't yet clear if the new Clan Battle feature will be included in the next update.
