Apple revealed new details for the most awaited iOS 11, a major operating system update to the iPhone, iPad and macOS devices. This week, the giant tech company confirmed the schedule of the World Wide Developers Conference event, also known as WWDC, where the new iOS 11 is expected to be revealed.

The WWDC 2017 will be held on June 5 at San Jose's McEnery Convention Centre, and the registration for the said event will start on Mar. 27, 2017. At the WWDC event, Apple usually releases new features in their products like iPhones and macOS, this is why many developers and tech critics are excited about the event. The WWDC will reportedly welcome 5,000 developers and 1,000 engineers.

According to rumors, the iOS 11 will bring substantial improvements to the Apple's voice assistant Siri, as well as allow Apple Pay transfers between contacts in iMessage. The Apple's current version is the iOS 10.13 which was released on January 2017, and includes new features on iPhones, iPad, and also on CarPlay.

Speculations suggest that Apple might also unveil the new iPhone models, the iPhone 8 and the rumored iPhone X. The Cupertino-based tech giant has yet to reveal any details about its new flagship phone, but rumors and speculations about its features are now spreading on the internet. The most rumored features of the new iPhone are the Dual-lens 3D camera, augmented reality, curved glass casing and plastic OLED screen, wireless charging and facial recognition.
