Samsung took the IFA 2012 by storm when it announced the Galaxy Note 2, the company's latest superphone with a massive 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display that is bound to capture the eyes of many.

When you look at the Galaxy Note 2, the first thing that comes to mind is, this device is basically a Galaxy S3 with a bigger display. However, the Galaxy Note 2 is so much more than just a huge Galaxy S3; for starters, the handset's 5.5-inch display pushes out a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, and instead of being the latest Android handset to launch with Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung chose to fly with Jelly Bean, and that is a much appreciated move. This means, users won't have to wait for an over the air update that might not come along until 2013.
