Humble has recently launched its latest bundle and it is apparently a notable one. The Humble Freedom Bundle's line-up of games is pretty astounding.

The said list has more than two dozen Steam games including "The Witness," "Remastered," "Stardew Valley," "Nuclear Throne," "Day of the Tentacle," "Invisible, Inc.," "Mini Metro," "Octodad" and "The Stanley Parable." A number of books are included on the bundle as well.

Moreover, the total MSRP listed is reportedly at over $600. Buyers will be receiving the list as soon as they purchase this bundle, though it is not broken down into different tiers based on purchase price.

Still, it is not like the usual since buyers have to pay at least $30 to have this set. Note that none of the said proceeds are going to the developers or Humble itself. It is because everything will be directed to charity.

Buyers have the choice to split their payment between the American Civil Liberties Union, International Rescue Committee or Doctors Without Borders. Humble itself is matching contributions up to $300,000.

This is in line with how some video game companies and organizations respond to the recent immigration ban imposed in the United States. A number of other developers, just like Humble, have recently been doing something similar by donating proceeds from their games to the ACLU. The supposedly controversial executive order, which has been halted by the courts since, is not clearly mentioned in Humble's accompanying announcement, but it is seemingly a clear response to it.

Companies are often reluctant to react publicly about political news. But, this time, several developers have reportedly expressed concern. Valve even recently said that it has already affected the company.

As per Humble's announcement, the company pointed out that the US is a nation of immigrants and they are proud to stand with authors, developers and charities that fight for justice and liberty for all. Additionally, they have apparently chosen the three organizations due to their inspiring work in providing humanitarian assistance to refugees and rejected people.

Impressively, the Humble bundle has already raised more than $125,000 in just less than an hour. The said set will be available for one week, according to Gamespot.

It is said that more content will possibly come soon as additional games have yet to be announced. It appears that Humble is leaving the door open for other developers to submit their games to support the cause.
