If latest reports are to be believed, "Red Dead Redemption 2" may be released on PC. Even though there is no confirmation on this and may later turn to be a hoax, Rockstar using Denuvo in the future could be some sort of an indication. Denuvo is a DRM provider that works only on the PC platform. Moreover, the provider recently faced certain technical issues on their website that accidentally provided users unrestricted access, for a short time, to its database. This also revealed more about future titles coming to PC.

According to Gaming Bolt, this information leak has revealed that Rockstar Games will be using Denuvo in future, probably for "Red Dead Redemption 2." This has come as surprising to many as the provider only caters to the PC platform and Rockstar only has one game coming up in the foreseeable future, and that is "RDR 2." The game was only announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, now there is a thin chance that Rockstar may bring the game to PC as well. If that happens, PC users will love the decision.

Moreover, Rockstar's previous releases such as "Grand Theft Auto 4" and "Grand Theft Auto 5," also received PC ports with major upgrades, after their initial releases on other platforms. It also received a few mentions at the Take Two Interactive's latest earnings call. Take Two assured fans that Rockstar will talk more about the title soon.

"Obviously, we're incredibly excited about the title. Not just Red Dead Redemption, but also the online offering to come. So Rockstar will talk more about the title, but obviously, there is great anticipation both on the part of ourselves and consumers," Two boss Strauss Zelnick said during the call, reports Express.
