Studio Wildcard has just launched an all new patch for "Ark Survival: Evolved" and is made available for PS4 as well as Xbox One users. Also, the big update for the console versions of the game is confirmed to roll out on Feb. 14 with a super secret new feature and more.
Via Twitter, Community Manager Jen announced that "Ark Survival: Evolved" patch 1.09 released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has brought in the well-need fix for crash and memory issues. But for those who have problems of dedicated servers crashing after the update is installed, developer Abstraction Games is already doing the investigation on this issue.
Moreover, Jen was asked if the latest update has now included improved draw distances. The community manager said that the patch doe not include changes made to draw distance for console, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
It is also noted that players must not think that patch 1.09 for "Ark Survival: Evolved" is the big update promised to make the console versions in accordance to PC 254. This huge update is slated to arrive this week, specifically on February 14.
The release date is confirmed by Associate Producer Jat on social media. According to Jat, TEK Tier will hit both gaming platforms later this month and at the moment, the impending update is undergoing internal QA. He mentioned that later is on the 14th.
The in-game content of this week's big update will include all PC equivalent content up and functionality through v254x. It will also feature a super secret new feature, the Center Mega Update, Per-Pixel Painting (Surivivors, Dinos, Canvases and others) plus Primitive+ Mega Update.
Jat also made a follow up post on Twitter and said that Mr @wietco found and fixed issue wth Player Dedi Loads. Thus, they are resubmitting to Sony ASAP for a fast update.
"Ark Survival: Evolved" is now available across all platforms. It's anticipated to release with full content this coming Spring.
