"Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" is the sequel to that adorable, Ghibli-like JRPG that never made its way to PC. Siliconera reports in an interview with the game's CEO, Akihiro Hino that that "Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" development is currently 45 percent complete. Given the expected release window in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC, fans hopes the game would make it to the market, as scheduled.
"Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" will reportedly have a new Major System. According to Hino, this new system will appear in the game's kingdom building process. He added that the new system will involve placing staff to build the kingdom for you. In addition, with the new major system, players will get to decide the kind of kingdoms they will make.
Gameplay
In the world of "Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom," players are immersed into the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell. It is a place where cats, mice and humans once lived in peace and harmony.
When a treacherous coup takes place, Evan, the young boy king of Ding Dong Dell is dethroned and banished from his kingdom. "Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" is about this deposed king and his journey to build his own kingdom and unite the entire world.
In his quest, he will be supported by his friends Roland, Tani and beings known as Higgledies. These Higgledies arose from the power of the hearts found within people, animals as well as elements such as fire and wind. You can find the "Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" latest trailer below.
