"Dragon Ball Super" kicked off a brand new story arc last weekend that left fans reeling when the Universal Survival saga put off to an interesting start as Goku asked Zen-oh to host a grand martial arts event in an attempt to test all the universes. Howbeit, the Saiyan failed to listen to his pal's warnings and the lethal tournament has now threatened to wipe off all of Goku's family and friends.

Goku has been accustomed to life-or-death fights and fans are wondering if it will put weight on him the moment he realizes that there is neither Zen-oh nor Dragon Balls to patch the aftermaths of the tournament. So, speculations are always at bay and have been raging about Goku to get a new Super Saiyan form in the "Dragon Ball Super" Universal Survival arc.

As Comic Book stated, the storyline has every piece that will urge Goku to level-up his power as the tournament is going to pit him against numerous new warriors. Of course, Goku's pride will certainly be on the line and he is aware that his whole Universe will be wiped out should his party lose.

Since Zen-oh has overseen the event, restoring Universe 7 in case Goku slips would not be the Omni-King's doing and everyone is aware that the hero will likely to power-up when he's backed right into a corner. The new details that were provided by a source is that the plot shows Goku fighting with his normal state against the Mystery Warrior that has a huge resemblance to Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman although in an adult version in "Dragon Ball Super."

Goku is also seen fighting with a wolf that was easily defeated and he returned to fight with the Mystery Warrior and transforms into Super Saiyan Blue state but then it changed without warning as he was surrounded by dark red-black energy. Fans thought that it was nothing more than a Kaio-ken state again in "Dragon Ball Super" but the state looks different from his most recent aura as he has shrouded with red now rather than blue-red.
