"Minecraft" add-ons are usually mini games or the infrequent clever machine but this time, Phoenix SC has rolled out Pokemon Cobalt and Amethyst - an add-on, which restructures the adventures and creature battles of the game. There are also 136 new Pokemon and many experiences including Pokedex to catch.

Eurogamer reports that it takes 60 - 80 hours to finish the storyline and there are small Pokemon villages and houses, a complete training and battle system, dialogue system and players can also throw balls at wild creatures. Take note that Cobalt and Amethyst have several hiccups but this is not new once the team is building on top of a different game.

There are also a few actions that players can take that would break "Minecraft" and Engadget recommends to back everything up so they don't get stuck when there is something wrong with the game. Although it's strange to see those colorful Pokemon transpose into blocky "Minecraft," it's still adorable to see them around.

The new "Minecraft" map that recreates the full-length and single-player Pokemon experience in-game features a full region packed with over a hundred original Pokemon and more. The trailer also provides instructions on how to install the map within the game.

It took Phoenix SC 31 months in developing this add-on to the game when it published a proof of concept to the game's subreddit and the map's prototype was focused on the trainer battle mechanics, which was released in June 2015. It quickly became a viral success where players commented how similar the recreated battling was to the actual Pokemon games.

Since the map's prototype, Phoenix SC has released an alpha, beta and finally the first full version of the map, though it needs an unmodded copy of the game to play. To all "Minecraft" fans out there, this one is worth checking out. Let us know what you think on this one in the comments below!
