Naughty Dog has released the Survival Hardcore mode for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" as part of its newest update, which is an intense new difficulty level that brings in higher stakes. It offers players with only one chance to successfully finish all 50 waves.

It means that if the team is wiped, they will have to go back from the start. Sorry, folks! "Hardcore mode is not for the faint of heart--it'll take skill, close teamwork, and careful strategy," according to Naughty Dog.

The new patch for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is also bringing the Classic mode back to the game's beta test playlist in Multiplayer, which is a back-to-basics mode making core combat and movement as its focal point. This features no in-game store, Mysticals or Sidekicks that can be found in the Multiplayer playlist menu.

Moreover, the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" update also adds a new ranked season, which brings in new rewards and improvements where players will have a chance to earn a new set of Ranked weapon skins to go with the Ranked Trucker Hats. A new qualifier system is also being added where qualifiers are now being based on points earned instead of matches won that allow players' personal performance to influence their advancements to a larger degree.

In addition, the Master Rank System has also been revamped where the system now focuses on player's average performance instead of a grind for points. The update 1.20.055 has also been made better, according to a report. This provides bugs fixes and balance changes for the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Survival Hardcore Mode.

In other news, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has also won another award for Outstanding Achievement in Character Animation for a video game at the Annie Awards on Feb. 4. Check out GameSpot to see the full patch notes for the game. Stay tuned for more Uncharted 4 news.
