Ubisoft has released a CGI "For Honor" trailer, which places the player in the midst of an epic battle among Knights, Samurai and Vikings. In addition, the company announced several details about the open beta coming to consoles and PC in the later part of the week.

The latest 360 "For Honor" video, titled "In the Battle," puts you at the center of a three-way battle among the major factions. It also allows players to get a glimpse of a group of small combats that are interrupted by a torrent of flaming arrows and stones from a trebuchet. The maddening chaos on the battlefield depicted in this latest trailer is not really the same in the game, but the video still looks good.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft announced that players could start pre-loading "For Honor" open beta on consoles and PC. The game is set to go live between February 9 and February 12.

Wccftech notes that Ubisoft ran a closed beta event in January, which hosted the Dominion, Brawl and Duel modes. These modes are coming back for this week's release alongside the new Elimination mode. Moreover, this week's beat includes a best-of-five rounds four-versus-four match with no respawns.

According to Gameranx, at its launch "For Honor" will feature 12 playable characters, five different multiplayer modes and a Story mode. In addition, Ubisoft recently fleshed out its season pass for the game. The $40 pass features six new heroes who will be available seven days earlier than they are released for everyone else. Moreover, it will contain elite outfits for the six DLC heroes, a Day One War pack and much more.

"For Honor" will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is scheduled to be released on February 14.
