The first few minutes of "The Lego Batman Movie" is packed with a spectacular action sequence that is comparable with its live-action counterpart. Will Arnett's portrayal of Batman is probably the loneliest version to date but in a good and hilarious way according to a review by IGN.

The movie has a simple yet emotional plot wherein Batman letting himself a part of a family again. Yet its strongest point is its sense of humor, although it doesn't always have a direct hit with the audience but you won't have to wait too long before a truly funny joke comes along.

Zach Galifianakis plays a good performance of the Joker in the movie. It's funny to see him in despair once he learned that he is no longer Batman's number one villain while at the same time being frustrated with Gotham's incompetent bad guys. Ralph Fiennes, who plays the role of Alfred, was perfect as he depicted a wonderfully dry version of the character. Michael Cera played an amusingly naive Robin where he wears the tiniest shorts possible for added mobility and with his large glasses that magnifies the world that he sees.

The movie's animation is of high quality that ensures each character bursts with life and emotion. It has great action and comedy that will satisfy most movie goers. Batman is depicted very differently and brought high energy to the character. Overall this movie found a new approach to these well-known characters, while being a great comedy film but also being a great Batman movie as well.

The film is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 10 in the U.S.
