The original game bundle for the PlayStation VR is returning to the console but for a lesser price. This is expected to lure in more gamers to purchase the VR offerings

Bundle inclusions and price

TechRadar reported that the PlayStation VR Bundle will be made available for only $499. This already includes a PlayStation VR headset, a demo disc, a PlayStation Camera, two controllers and a PlayStation VR Worlds copy. There is also another bundle offering from Sony which has the same price tag but includes "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" instead of the PlayStation VR Worlds.

These inclusions are already more than what PlayStation initially offered its customers for $399 which only included the demo disc and the headset. Gamers can already save a lot of money if they will separately buy the other included items on the bundle.

Other game titles coming

It was added by VG247 that the bundle could be available in retail stores beginning this week. Players can also look forward to other VR titles coming to the PlayStation including "Star Trek: Bridge Crew," "Farpoint," "Golem," "Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin" and "Gran Turismo."

Vice President of PlayStation brand marketing SIEA John Koller earlier said that they are aiming to introduce great titles for the PlayStation VR in the coming months. "It's only been three months since we launched PS VR and the game lineup looks to be incredibly strong in 2017," Koller was quoted by TrustedReviews as saying.

Out of stock

Last month, Sony's Kaz Hirai said the company is happy with the sales of the PlayStation VR units. He claimed that it even ran out of stock in some retail stores during the holiday season where many bought it as gifts for their families and friends.

The PlayStation VR is expected to become more popular to gamers when new titles are introduced for this platform. What other games do you want to be introduced for the PlayStation VR?
