Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi have been together for years and the couple has definitely withstood the test of time and countless divorce rumors. A recent report suggests that the couple may soon be ready to start a family of their own despite previous statements that they are happy with just being together.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are looking into starting a family of their own, a report from In Touch suggests, according to Gossip Cop. An insider told the publication that the 59-year-old talk show host has had a "change of heart" when it comes to having a child with her wife, de Rossi.
What exactly changed DeGeneres' perspectives when it comes to having their own family? The source alleges that the "Finding Dory" star was inspired when she saw how Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's lives changed when their son, Silas, was born.
This has reportedly made DeGeneres realize that she was being selfish when she refused to start a family when de Rossi badly wanted a child of her own. The "Ellen Show" host is allegedly looking into different options such as surrogacy or adoption.
While this may be a cause for joy for DeGeneres and de Rossi's followers, the publication notes that the couple is not interested in having a family of their own. DeGeneres and de Rossi have been very vocal about their family plans in previous interviews and it looks like their thoughts have not changed through time.
What has not changed through the year, however, is DeGeneres' feelings for her wife. As ET reports, DeGeneres gushed about her wife while accepting an award during the People's Choice Awards.
DeGeneres gushed about de Rossi's appearance during the event and called her beautiful. She also thanked her good friend, Justin Timberlake, for their friendship and for being the one to hand out her award.
